About Us
Young Hospitality Investment Professionals (YHIP) is a networking, education and professional development organization for young professionals in the hospitality investment industry.
Since its revitalization in 2011, the organization has grown to over 240 members from more than 120 companies spanning all areas of the hotel industry. YHIP hosts events in five major cities. The following timeline details key milestones in YHIP's growth since 2011:
Networking Events
YHIP hosts exclusive networking events in major cities to foster relationship development amongst the next generation of hospitality leaders. Events include social functions and property tours of unique, new or under construction hotels. To date, YHIP has held events in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta and Denver.
Educational Events
Educational events include industry panels and Icon Insight conference calls that provide insight on practical and current topics from premier industry leaders. Past events include numerous conference calls and a development panel moderated by Ernst & Young with speakers from Kimpton Hotels, Highgate Hotels and the Sydell Group.
